Cyclestreets.net is a brilliant little website for bicyclists. Just enter where you are and where you want to go and it will take you a proper cyclists route, tell you the distance, how quiet or otherwiseit will be and how many calories you will burn completing it.
This is extraordinary. You can actually choose a route to avoid unnecessary hills. Excellent for the part-time cyclist!

Tri the Bike

18 Windmill St, Gravesend DA12 1AS, UK – 01474 533748

I've always had a positive experience in this small but well stocked local shop. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They are happy to advise and answer any questions without pressuring you with sales patter the second you walk through the door. High end, quality bikes at good prices with a great choice of kids stuff too. I highly recommend Tri the Bike Shop.

My self and partner have brought bikes in the passed from this shop. Due to get another soon, I find the lads that work there very helpful, and do a great job in the work that they do. Lad with the black baseball cap, has fitted difficult things to my bike in the passed, and does a splendid job. Was bit of a challenge for him, but he got it done, and I was most greatful to him in doing so. Keep up the good work lads. And thankyou for ur great service.

Great smooth and safe. Do what you like. Bring your helmet!!

May I say the the receptionist on the desk is absolutely professional, polite and very helpful and doesn't get flustered even though she is often working on her own with a queue of people waiting and trying to answer the phone at the same time. I would certainly give her 5 stars. I enjoy Pilates and the gym, but the booking system on the internet is abysmal. I go through the process and when I get to the booking page, before I have time to put in date and which group, it comes up with no bookings for that day. This means that there are no benefits to being a member and being allowed to book a day before non- members. Perhaps someone tech savie could investigate Many thanks Theresa
